A small sprout was sown when Anniken Ørbeck-Nilssen, a fully qualified chiropractor in England, had to buy a work uniform. There was neither cut, taste or technical alternatives to be found on the market.

After many years in the health industry as an executive chiropractor, the sprout should finally start to grow. After a cafe visit in the winter of 2019, Hedda Rivelsrud and Kristina Riiber agreed with Anniken that she had a brilliant idea.

WORKIS will make flattering and technical uniforms in sustainable materials. Everyone was ready for new challenges and together they founded the company WORKIS AS on 8 January 2020.

- and has therefore spent a lot of time and resources to produce so sustainably
as possible. We believe the world needs a change in the large-scale consumption of
uniforms and choice of poor textiles.

WORKIS wants to be a good role model and help change the industry for the better. That's expensive
to buy cheap uniforms. Expensive for you, as you have to invest in new uniforms more often due to poor quality,
and expensive for our planet which cannot get rid of all the abundance of clothes. Make some wise choices
and rather invest in good, durable and hard-wearing textiles. Better for you and better for the environment.
